Maryland’s Eastern Shore Makes For One Of The Most Beautiful Locations For Maternity, Family and Children’s Photo Sessions
Summertime in Maryland…gorgeous sunsets, beautiful days on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay and fun in the sun! Whether you are an expecting mom, or want to preserve the memory of your family with a styled photo session bayside, there’s no better place to to it than on Kent Island. A quick drive across the Bay Bridge from Annapolis, and easily accessible from Easton and Centreville via Route 50, Kent Island has some gorgeous spots that feature natural, scenic backdrops that double as fun for the whole family.
Here are some of my favorite beaches and spots on Maryland’s Eastern Shore that I absolutely love at sunrise and sunset. As a photographer, the colors during these times are absolutely beautiful!
- Matapeake State Park (a popular beach among locals)
- Terrapin Nature Park (you can walk down trails to the beach)
- Kentmoor (Dirty Dave’s Tiki Bar is there)
- Romancoke Pier – there is no beach here, but it is a beautiful place to watch the sunset over the Chesapeake Bay
