A Warm, Welcoming Approach To Newborn Photo Sessions in Stevensville
How long do newborn sessions last?
For a newborn session it could last 2-3 hours, which all depends on how sleepy the baby is, feeding, etc.
Do you offer in-home newborn sessions?
We do not do in-home sessions, all newborns are done in our Stevensville photography studio. We offer a variety of with different and adorable outfits, newborn props and backdrops. Each session is stylized to be unique for each family and baby.
How much does a newborn photo session cost?
The session fee for newborns is $350. This does not include digitals or products, but you are welcome to purchase them so you have beautiful keepsakes of your bundle of joy!
Do you edit the photos?
Yes! I have a unique style of editing, as seen in my portfolio. About a week after your photo session, the photos will be professionally edited. Once I am finished editing your session photos, we have schedule a viewing and ordering session at the studio. This involves myself or my assistant sitting down with you, to review all of the edited images. This is one of the best parts. You get to view pictures of your sweet baby, and then order prints, canvas, digitals, and other products from your selections and favorites.
Do you provide wardrobe options, or should I provide my baby’s outfits?
As far as wardrobe options go, we offer a variety of adorable accessories and props to choose for both baby girls and baby boys. You don’t have to bring to the session unless there is something special or unique you want to incorporate (for example, I’ve photographed a family where the dad was a firefighter, so they brought some of his work “props” for the session).
What Should Parents Wear To The Session?
For newborn photo sessions, I recommend that moms wear a light, neutral-colored top OR they can select one of our beautiful, studio gowns to wear. We encourage Dads to avoid patterns, and wear a simple, v-neck or button-up shirt in a neutral color. We don’t want to distract from the true focus of the shoot, which is the joy of your new baby.
When is the best time to book my newborn photo session?
Great question! The typical time to book your newborn session is during the 2nd trimester. A maternity shoot can be added on for an additional $300, and this package includes 10 digital images.
What’s The Perfect Age For A Newborn Photo Session?
I prefer to shoot your baby once they reach 10-14 days. The sooner the better! Why? The older your bundle of joy gets, the more restless they become, making it difficult to manage the shoot and pose your baby.
